165 Great peace have those who love Your law, and nothing causes
them to stumble.
PSALM 138:7-8
7 Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me; you
will stretch out Your hand against the wrath of my enemies, and
Your right hand will save me.
8 The LORD will perfect that which concerns me; your mercy, O
LORD, endures forever; do not forsake the works of Your hands.
PROVERBS 3:19-26
19 The LORD by wisdom founded the earth; by understanding He established
the heavens;

22 So they will be life to your soul and grace to your neck.

PROVERBS 28:1,4
1 The wicked flee when no one pursues, but the righteous are bold

the law contend with them.

ISAIAH 41:10-13

and disgraced; they shall be as nothing, and those who strive

nonexistent thing.

to you, 'Fear not, I will help you.'

ACTS 5:16-33
16 ... a multitude gathered from the surrounding cities to Jerusalem,
bringing sick people and those who were tormented by unclean spirits,
and they were all healed.
17 Then the high priest rose up, and all those who were with him
(which is the sect of the Sadducees), and they were filled with
indignation,
18 and laid their hands on the apostles and put them in the common
prison.
19 But at night an angel of the Lord opened the prison doors and
brought them out, and said,
20 "Go, stand in the temple and speak to the people all the words
of this life."
21 And when they heard that, they entered the temple early in
the morning and taught. But the high priest and those with him
came and called the council together, with all the elders of the
children of Israel, and sent to the prison to have them brought.
22 But when the officers came and did not find them in the prison,
they returned and reported,
23 saying, "Indeed we found the prison shut securely, and the
guards standing outside before the doors; but when we opened them,
we found no one inside!"
24 Now when the high priest, the captain of the temple, and the
chief priests heard these things, they wondered what the outcome
would be.
25 So one came and told them, saying, "Look, the men whom you
put in prison are standing in the temple and teaching the people!"
26 Then the captain went with the officers and brought them without
violence, for they feared the people, lest they should be stoned.
27 And when they had brought them, they set them before the council.
And the high priest asked them,
28 saying, "Did we not strictly command you not to teach in this
name? And look, you have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine,
and intend to bring this Man's blood on us!"
29 But Peter and the other apostles answered and said: "We ought
to obey God rather than men.
30 "The God of our fathers raised up Jesus whom you murdered by
hanging on a tree.
31 "Him God has exalted to His right hand to be Prince and Savior,
to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins.
32 "And we are His witnesses to these things, and so also is the
Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey Him."
33 When they heard this, they were furious and plotted to kill
them.
ROMANS 8:24-25
24 ...we were saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is not
hope; for why does one still hope for what he sees?
25 But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for
it with perseverance.
PHILIPPIANS 1:27-28
27 ... let your conduct be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so
that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of your
affairs, that you stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving
together for the faith of the gospel,
28 and not in any way terrified by your adversaries, which is

is made perfect in weakness." Therefore most gladly I will rather
boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon
me.
10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in
needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ's sake. For
when I am weak, then I am strong.
EPHESIANS
1:15-21
15 ... I ..., after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and
your love for all the saints,
16 do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you
in my prayers:
17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory,
may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge
of Him,
18 the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you
may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches
of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,
19 and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us
who believe, according to the working of His mighty power
20 which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead
and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places,
21 far above all principality and power and might and dominion,
and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in
that which is to come.
